Flexible pipe outer sheaths can become damaged through wear from interaction with the seabed and structures. Flexlife have developed an ROV installed protection system based on the Armadillo™ specifically to protect the outer sheath of the flexible from contact related damage, helping to prevent outer sheath breach and subsequent annulus flooding.
