Flexlife has seen off what was described as record levels of competition to reach the finals of the prestigious Northern Star Business Awards.
Reaching the final three in the running for the R&D award at the Northern Stars is the latest awards success for flexlife. In the last few months, the company has won Best Newcomer in the Subsea UK 09 awards, been runner-up in the Scottish Offshore Achievement Awards and reached the finals of the National Business Awards for Scotland in the best company and innovation categories.
Results will be announced at an award ceremony and dinner at Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on September 24, with adventurer Ben Fogle the keynote speaker. It is the sixth event in the annual series organized by Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce.
AGCC chief executive Robert Collier said:
"The Northern Star Business Awards are all about recognising and celebrating business achievements across all sectors, so we're really delighted that the nominations we have received have exceeded all previous years.
"This has been seen as a challenging year for business and the fact that many firms have continued to flourish, grow and enjoy success has sometimes been overlooked."
