FlexGuard

FlexGuard™ is a unique subsea riser monitoring tool which provides the operator with instant access to the riser annulus condition of any riser remotely from any location in the world.

FlexGuard provides the operator with the ability to continuously monitor the status of any of their riser assets globally from a remote location. The tool can be easily deployed, either by ROV or diver, onto any flexible riser asset, via the riser friendly clamping system, which also makes the tool close to neutral buoyancy for ease of deployment.

Ultrasonic data collected automatically from the tool is telemetered acoustically back to a surface vessel, suitable craft or ROV and emailed back to Flexlife, giving the operator an up to date status of each riser, minimising the potential timescale of operating with an unknown flooded annulus.
